Character “Dominic” (Subject to change)
Age 16
“Any success that I make, could not be expected from me. No, for these successes of mine are made through the opportunity that I take at every moment possible. ”

Born into a middle class family, Dominic spends most of his time reading manga and watching illegal anime. He lives in a rather small family with a twin sister who doesn’t appreciate the fact that he looks at things in a logical, nearly optimistic way.

Very intelligent, but lacking actual persuasion, he does his work half heartedly and gets pass his classes with excellent grades. However, he lacks the self-confidence one would usually get with such high grades.

His love interest is Anemone.

Character is based on the physical concept of Itsuki Koizumi from “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” with a haircut akin to… I got nothing.

Is also based on the mannerisms of Kyon, also from “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”

Interests include games, anime, and the mysteries of the world around him.

On dates, enjoys a good conversation.

Described as conservative, usually wearing a long sleeved collared shirt with long pants or a t-shirt with jeans. Sporting a ready ruler in his pockets or his hand, he seems to be prepared for anything really.

For the concept stage, please have Dominic with your choice of Green or Brown eyes. Hair of… Itsuki (google it, if not possible, a suitable alternative may be possible). Medium height, around 5 foot 6, slightly slouching (if you wish to draw from this angle)
Skinny. Although not to skinny; toned if you wish.

Character “Anemone” (Subject to change)
Age 16
“I cannot think up of a single reason as to why the world is the way it is. I live through it only to wonder whether or not I should ever continue on to the next day, and usually I feel that it is necessary for me to keep on doing what I am supposed to do in order to maintain balance and comfort throughout this world”

Born into a rather… privileged family, this young girl does not fret when problems of money comes up, but she makes sure that no one else knows about this. She lives in a rather medium family with a sister and brother, both of which she doesn’t speak of if rarely.

She is quite intelligent to the point of being the top of her class! However, she prefers to not show this and instead undermines herself by constantly delving into books and novels (with her secret love of manga)

She has no love interest, as she is indifferent.

Character is based on… for lack of a better character, the actual Anemone from “Eureka Seven”, Kagami Hiiragi, and Haruhi Suzumiya. Her closest appearance? Ehh… hard to say.

Interests include novels and countless fan fiction based on it. Secretly loves manga but lacks to tell anyone else. Participates in internet discussions over fan fiction.

On dates, enjoys a good dinner.

Described as… very conservative. No flashy clothing. Usually wears sneakers and a t-shirt and jeans or… woman pants whatever they are called, capris or something right? Occasionally wears a jacket for warmth. Holds in her hands a book sometimes.

For the concept stage, please have Anemone with long flowing hair (slightly lower than the shoulders) with your choice of Blue or Brown eyes. Medium-ish height at around 5 foot 5.
Thin shape. Not skinny. Actually a better thing is a mediation between skinny/thin and what YOU may consider “normal”. Flat. Yeah I said flat.
Wearing glasses. Big rimmed if possible.
Wearing a blue t-shirt with a jacket (your color choice) on the outside. Or wearing a …. Pink/green t-shirt.
Choice of either jeans or … those woman pants that aren’t jeans (are they capris?)
Both hands in her pockets. (jacket pockets if present, otherwise in her jeans pockets)
She is a QUITE, LACONIC person. She can be quite funny if possible. She is MYSTERIOUS. Not emo. She is very cheery… ish. SUPER KAWAII

Character “Renton” (Subject to change)
Age 16
“Alas, a woman’s mind is like the autumn wind. Constantly changing. Honestly, that annoys me sometimes, for I do believe that if they could stay on one topic at the same time, their thoughts and ideas could be coherent sometimes. Or perhaps I am talking to some unsophisticated small portion of the female population”

Born into an upper class family, Renton loves to pout about it. Obsessed with anime to the point of buying outfits for the sole purpose of “personal value”. Lives with a younger sister that he loves to dress up and play around with (NO INCEST)

Intelligence is equivalent to Dominics in all aspects except Renton is better in computer sciences and (amazingly) light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation technology and nuclear physics. But otherwise is lazy in academics.

He… is conflicted when it comes to people he knows. Who really knows who he likes?

Character based on Sherlock Holmes, Napoleon Bonaparte, and Vladimir Nabakov’s Humbert Humbert (in eloquence and prose, not Humbert’s sick desires)

Interests include (an obviously obsessive) love of anime, cosplaying, and long drawn out philosophical debates on many issues of society.

On dates, enjoys a long drawn out conversation with someone over dinner. Dislikes public outings (group wise)

Described as… really flashy. If and when it is possible, he will dress in the best designs and fashions… for a gentleman. He is terrible at women though, but his manners represent that of a gentlemen (if he wasn’t such a pompous jerk) Speaks eloquently confusing people most of the time.

For the concept stage, please have Renton with short hair (similar to Dominic’s Itsuki Koizumi) but slightly off being messier. With brown eyes or grey eyes. Slightly average height at around 5 foot 4.
Tall upfront posture. Skinny, but his hips are…. Wider than average.
Wears black dress pants and white dress shirt unbuttoned with sneakers. A watch is on his right arm.
Both hands are … folded over the chest or something.
Looks into the sky and thinks.
He is characterized as the Anti-Hero of the story.
An air of being POMPOUS. Is RESERVED, CALM, however he is ready to strike at any second (how? I dunno)

Character “Eureka” (Subject to change)
Age 16
“Why am I always left out of the fun things? I mean, people like me and all… but they never call me for help or anything like that… Why can’t I have a guy that wants my company.”

Born into a middle class family, Eureka has no sisters and no brothers.

She’s above average intelligence and gets nominal grades and moves on. Studies hard, but doesn’t get into the best classes. She gets into the second best classes. Love to waste time on the interwebs.

She’s conflicted over who she likes, Renton or Dominic.

Character is based on every tsundere girl in anime history.

Interests include internet chatrooms and the quiet sanctuary of her home.

On dates, would prefer a movie or a museum.

Described as someone who tries, but doesn’t try hard enough. Wears… cute clothing that doesn’t work out for her most of the time. Usually tries to fit in with everyone.

For the concept stage, please have Eureka with medium length hair (up to the tip of her shoulders) with your choice of green or blue eyes. Short height at 5 foot 1.
Normal body build. B-sized…
Choice of Jeans or a skirt colored … whatever the heck you wanna color it. With a t-shirt with any color.
She is quite a LOUD person. Constantly being NICE and EVIL at the same time. Is TSUNDERE. May be considered emo.




The next few characters will be “Generic” and will only be personalized by the other graphics artists. I (Christopher) can only do so much, but realizing that there are only four main characters, there needs to be more. So at this point there is an offering of as many bloody characters as you want to draw. These are not side or extra characters. But if you provide a drawing and a slight description of them; they will be modified by me and then the background re-established and the picture (might be) redone. This is your chance to create a character of your choice that does not fit the specifications that you wish. Of course if you didn’t grab the other four because you couldn’t…. then yeah. You can work on an individual character of your own design this way (of course, modified and shaped by me, it might be slight if it works with the novel though). The goal is a minimum of 3 extra characters and a maximum of 8.
